If you don't see your insurance listed below it may be under an umbrella company such as United Healthcare. Based on nature of insurance company we have to verify each insurance company are certain policies may not be covered despite having an umbrella coverage. *Based on the complexity on insurance we would need to verify your individual to let you know the network status before scheduling an appointment.

What if you aren't in-network with my insurance or I don't have insurance?

For self pay or out of network patients, we are happy to provide you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for out of network reimbursement. This is when your insurance plan will reimburse you directly a portion of your out of pocket fees paid for your appointment.

You can find your specific insurance plan out of network benefit information typically in the Summary of Benefits in your information packet or your insurance company’s website. The best way to be absolutely sure of your benefits is to clarify with your insurance company member services line. You can find this phone number on the back of your insurance card.

What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens, we get it. We are happy to reschedule you when needed. You can cancel through the patient portal

Requirements:

New Patient Appointments:
Please remember to cancel or reschedule at least 48 business hours in advance.

Follow Up Appointments: 
Please be mindful to cancel or reschedule at least  1 full business day in advance.

• We never overbook and truly value your time and appreciate that courtesy reciprocated for our provider’s time as well.

Notification: You will be responsible for the entire out-of-pocket appointment fee if you do not notify us within the designated time frame.

How much are your services?

Accepted Answer

1) Initial Consultation - $300 for 1 hour

During the first consultation, I will do a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation from a bio-psycho-social model trying to assess the root cause of each underlying illness. We will collaborate on a full customized treatment program that aligns with your values including medicines, therapy, and/or alternative remedies.

2) Comprehensive Follow Up - $200 per hour

During such a visit, 20 minutes will be dedicated to review each patient’s responses to medications and alternative supplements; 40 minutes will be dedicated for therapy based on therapy selected per patient and provider

3) Psychotherapy Follow Up - $200 per hour

If you feel that therapy is the right fit based on underlying issues. Various therapies include: psycho-dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy. Typically, for therapy to be effective it should be scheduled on a weekly basis or bimonthly basis (based on the severity of underlying condition)

4) Medication & Alternatives Follow Up

$100 per 30 minutes - Discuss if and how the treatment regimen is beneficial for each underlying condition. In depth evaluation of side effects from treatment regimen(s)

What is Telemedicine?

One Life Psychiatry does not currently offer in-person patient, however may do so in the near future. It offer modern approach focused on flexibility for patients, many of who often have busy work schedules, frequently travel, or live outside of the area making travel to the office in person inconvenient.

Using our online psychiatry services, we can diagnose your symptoms and prescribe treatment options for your specific needs.

Now, our patients can book an appointment online, meet with their provider and receive their prescriptions seamlessly.

Question 7

What technology do I need for a visit?

Accepted Answer

Most laptops, tablets, and smartphones will have the equipment you need for your online visit. We use a HIPPA complaint video chat Doxy.me, which we will send you the link you once we review your record.

Only things needed for your appointment:

• Good Internet Connection
 • Camera accessible on you phone, tablet or computer
 • Headphones or speakers on your device

Is my information still private?

We take all of our patient’s security very seriously.  One Life Psychiatry is fully HIPAA compliant, and all information is 100% private.
